More information on Just Add Power’s 2nd generation of HDMI over IP gear

Previously, we told you a little bit of information we obtained about JAP’s new HDMI over IP gear. Today we know more, including if the 1st generation is still sold and supported, whether you can mix and match 1st and 2nd generation product, and what kind of network impact you might expect from tossing HD around your network with no visible compression artifacts. Denon drops new line of receivers & Blu-ray players for 2010 with Control4 certification

Looking for a new receiver or Blu-ray player and don’t want to worry about whether the driver someone created was “good enough”? Look no further than the first products hitting the street with Control4 certified drivers courtesy of Denon. From the press release: “Denon’s Control4 Certified products, with expected SRP and availability in parenthesis, include the A/V receiver Models AVR-5308CI (SRP: $5,500, current), AVR-4810CI (SRP: $2,999, current), AVR-3311CI (SRP: $1,199, June) and AVR-2311CI (SRP: $899, June), as well as the DVD-A1UDCI (SRP: $4,500) and DBP-4010CI (SRP: $1,999) Universal Blu-ray Disc players and the AVP-A1HDCI (SRP: $7,500) A/V surround sound and video processor. Other previously introduced Denon products that also meet Control4 certification requirements include the A/V receiver Models AVR-4310CI, AVR-3310CI, AVR-2310CI, AVR-990 and AVR-890, as well as the DBP-2010CI Profile 2.0 Blu-ray player.” Click the read link to read it in full.
