From the press release: “Denon’s Control4 Certified products, with expected SRP and availability in parenthesis, include the A/V receiver Models AVR-5308CI (SRP: $5,500, current), AVR-4810CI (SRP: $2,999, current), AVR-3311CI (SRP: $1,199, June) and AVR-2311CI (SRP: $899, June), as well as the DVD-A1UDCI (SRP: $4,500) and DBP-4010CI (SRP: $1,999) Universal Blu-ray Disc players and the AVP-A1HDCI (SRP: $7,500) A/V surround sound and video processor. Control4, Electronic House & The SOHO Shop present: “Debunking the Myths – Getting Started with Home Control”

In case you missed it, Electronic House Magazine and Control4 hosted a webex chat session entitled “Debunking the Myths – Getting Started with Home Control”. They asked Bryan Jefferson from The SOHO Shop to offer a dealer’s perspective, and Jeff Layn to talk about the technology as an end user. Besides a basic overview of getting started with automation, the Q&A is worth listening to for tidbits of information from Jeff Dungan at Control4, who discusses when the HC-200 & HC-300 might receive a hardware refresh, what plans are for Windows Phone support, and whether iTunes synchronization will be native with Control4′s 2.0 update – among others.
