Books open has just gone out on Control4′s 2.0 operating system update. We’ve got a whole new section of the site dedicated to it that we’ll be showing off soon, including a FAQ on the update and Zigbee Pro, including what devices are supported, which aren’t, upgrade paths, new features, and video walkthroughs. Call it bookmarks/page flips/favorites, I don’t care it’s an awesome feature that has long been awaited. That’s right we can finally program our live camera feeds to pop up on a touch screen or tv based on program triggers. Can I get an Amen out there?

Here is a simple script anyone can do to have an audible announcement before each source starts when using a keypad button to toggle sources.
