In case you missed it, Electronic House Magazine and Control4 hosted a webex chat session entitled “Debunking the Myths – Getting Started with Home Control”. They asked Bryan Jefferson from The SOHO Shop to offer a dealer’s perspective, and Jeff Layn to talk about the technology as an end user. Besides a basic overview of getting started with automation, the Q&A is worth listening to for tidbits of information from Jeff Dungan at Control4, who discusses when the HC-200 & HC-300 might receive a hardware refresh, what plans are for Windows Phone support, and whether iTunes synchronization will be native with Control4’s 2.0 update – among others.
